After their hard-fought Europa League match, the Black Eagles returned to the Turkish Super League with three points tonight.  The visitors Beşiktaş were definitely the better side in the first half and came close to breaking the deadlock twice with Sosa, but on both occasions his shots missed the target. The teams carried the goalless draw into the interval.
 
The Black Eagles applied even more pressure in the second half and got their reward in the 57th minute when Mustafa Pektemek fired them ahead with a well-timed  header  from inside the 6-yard line. Beşiktaş did not slow down after goal but failed to add to their tally and were more than happy to run out 1-0 winners.
