In their second Turkish Super League match, the Black Eagles dropped two precious at the home ground Ataturk Olympic Stadium tonight. Actually, Beşiktaş attacked more in the first half but struggled to create clear-cut chances. The visitors from Rize City opened the second half with a quick goal from Ümit Korkmaz and silenced the home crowd. The Black Eagles piled on the pressure for the equaliser, only to wait until the 81st minute for their reward when Olcay Şahan fired home from inside box to level the score at 1-1. They went all out for the winner in the remaining minutes but could not find an opening in the Rizespor’s tight defence.
