Beşiktaş 3 - 1 Bursaspor

Black Eagles continue to win at home

Black Eagles got off to a flying start and were ahead after just 7 minutes with a superb header from Almeida. The early goal seemed to wake the visitors up, and on 36 minutes, they were level when N’idaye’s through-ball found the feet of streaking Batalla in side the box, and the Argentinian midfielder did the rest. But Bursaspor’s joy lasted only two minutes because Edu put Beşiktaş back in front with a powerful shot from15 yards out. At half time, the score stood at 2-1 to the Eagles.

After the breather, Bursa City team pressed hard for the equaliser but failed to capitalise on their chances. And 7 minutes from time, Almedia’s header hit the post and came back out to sub Mustafa Pektemek who easily slotted the ball home from close range, dashing the visitors’ hopes for a draw. Beşiktaş calmly played out the remaining minutes and ultimately welcomed the final whistle.
