Black Eagles through to Turkish Cup Last 16

Playing before a women-only crowd, Black and Whites came out flying and went ahead just 2 minutes into the game through a brilliant header from Veli Kavlak. Beşiktaş continued to apply pressure for the rest of the half but managed only a one-goal lead at the interval.
 
Portuguese midfielder Fernandes doubled the home side’s advantage with a well-placed free-kick on 72 minutes, but Kenan pulled one back for the visitors 10 minutes later. Second Division outfit Gaziantep pushed hard to equalise in the remaining time, only to see the Eagles hold on for a 2-1 win, which took them into the next round of Turkish Cup.
