Midfielder Fabian Ernst and goalkeeper Cenk Gönen were delighted with their team’s 1-0 victory against Dynamo Kiev.

Fabian Ernst: If we keep on playing like the way we did tonight, nobody can stand in our way. Kiev virtually sent everyone forward to salvage the point in the closing minutes and came real close in one occasion. But, with good goalkeeping and a little luck, we managed to come out of that situation unharmed. We must carry this momentum into our future matches.
 
Cenk Gönen: As you will all remember, we lost the game in Kiev with a last-minute goal. They had a similar chance at the exact moment here, but this time we shut our door and prevented them from stealing our points. I dedicate this win to Egemen, who has scored our winning goal and is having his birthday today.
