In its Turkish Nationals opener, Beşiktaş Men’s Junior Volleyball edged Galatasaray 3-2 in Denizli today.

The junior Eagles captured the first set 25-8 with ease but dropped the second and third by the same score of 25-17. They managed to find their earlier rhythm in the fourth set to take it 25-22, forcing a fifth and deciding set. Beşiktaş prevailed 15-9 in the tiebreaker and won the match 3-2. The Black and Whites now take on Kayseri Melikgazi in their second game on Tuesday.
