Beşiktaş Wheelchair closed out the first round of playoffs atop its division with a 72-65 victory over arch-rival Galatasaray.

Both teams stayed close throughout the opening quarter with the Eagles ahead 16-15. The tight score continued in the second, but going into the locker room at the intermission, this time Galatasaray was up by one, 33-32. 
Thanks to Kaan’s hot-hand, the Black and Whites regained control in the third as they opened up a five-point lead, 54-49, entering the final stanza. Playing tenacious defense, Beşiktaş kept the game in check in the fourth and never let last season’s champions get too close to emerge with a well-earned 72-65 victory.
 With the win, Beşiktaş made it three out of three and took a significant advantage into the second and final round of playoffs.
