Beşiktaş has signed former Trabzonspor defender Egemen Korkmaz to a four-year contact.

Egemen Korkmaz (born 3 November 1982 in Balıkesir) started his professional football career at second-division side Kartalspor. After a 6 year stint with the Turkish Super League Club Bursaspor, he moved to Trabzonspor in 2008. The “Gladiator” has 13 international appearances with the Turkish national team at various youth levels.
