In the first leg of semi-finals, visiting Beşiktaş men’s handball team edged past Maliye Milli Piyango 29-23 at the Yaşar Sevim Sports Hall today.

The teams were evenly balanced in the first half with the Eagles nursing a slim 14-13 lead at the interval. Beşiktaş built a 6-goal cushion midway through the second half en route to an impressive 29-23 win. The teams will face each other again this Sunday at 16:00 at BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Hall for the second leg.
