On Day 36 of the season, Beşiktaş reserves hosted cross-town rivals Galatsaray at Fiyapı Inönü Stadium today and ran out 3-1 victors. 

The Eagles started brightly and went ahead through Volkan İkici on 25 minutes. They were not done yet as Ömer Faruk Özgen doubled score four minutes later. The score stood 2-0 for Baeşiktaş at the interval.
Güven Gürsoy put the game away for the Eagles at the 52nd-minute mark with a fine strike, 3-0. The visitors pulled one back in stoppage time but it was too little and too late. The win helped raise Beşiktaş points to 71 and continue their pursuit for the title.
Beşiktaş Executive Board Members Engin Baltacı, Sinan Vardar, Necip Ersever, Beşiktaş Senior Team Manager Tavur Havutçu, forward Nihat Kahveci, Youth System Coordinator Uivi Güveneroğlu, Head of Soccer Schools Nedim Sarsmaz and Schools Coordinator Ufak Pak were all at hand to watch the game.
