After their 38-26 final victory over Milli Piyango, the men’s handball team celebrated the Turkish Cup title with great enthusiasm at the Konya Selçuklu Belediyesi Sports Hall.

The Eagles received the Cup from Bilal Eüpoğlu, the President of Turkish Handball Federation, and went on a victory tour in the hall before being joined by the fans.  
Beşiktaş Manager Müfit Arın was extremely delighted with the outcome: “This is our second milestone after the Super  Cup, which we won at the start of the season. It is the fruit of 9-month long, hard work. We want to take Turkish League title as well and make three out of three. I congratulate my players for the outstanding performance they put in today.”
The Assistant Manager İlker Şentürk and players Tolga Özbahar, Yılmaz Özgür and Oğuzhan Büyük also shared their thoughts:
İlker Şentürk: We promised three titles to our fans at the beginning of this season and already captured two of them. Now, we are heading towards the league title. I dedicate this cup to all our fans.
Tolga Özbahar: This is my first Turkish Cup title with Beşiktaş. The way we played today surely deserved the victory. Now, we are eyeing the league playoffs.
Yılmaz Özgür: We added another cup to our honours list. I congratulate all my teammates for their strong effort, but it is not over yet. We still have to one more title to go after.
Oğuzhan Büyük: Today, we turned in an extraordinary performance. We hope to win all our playoffs as well and be crowned as the Turkish champions
During the medal ceremony, Beşiktaş Executive Board Member Doğan Küçükemre presented Selçuklu Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay with a plaque for his contribution to the Cup final organization.
