Beşiktaş Wheelchair Basketball rolled over BADs of Italy, 69-58, in its Andre Vergauwen Cup Finals opener at Cola Turka Arena today.

Despite falling behind, 18-12 after one, the Black and Whites got back on track in the second to lead 35-29 at the intermission. They maintained momentum in the third and carried a 51-43 advantage into the final quarter, en route to a well-deserved 69-58 win. Cem Gezinci, with his 26 points, played a key role in the Eagles’ victory.
