Beşiktaş extended sponsorship with Adidas until 2016 in a signing ceremony held at Nevzat Demir Sports Complex today. 

Beşiktaş Chairman Yıldırm Demirören and Adidas Turkey Board Member and General Manager  Halil Mutlu were the signing parties.
After the signing, “Beşiktaş management and fans are fully satisfied with Adidas’ products over the past two years. That’s the reason why we decided to continue working with them for the next five years. This season, we sold 185 thousand merchandise for the first time in club’s history. This is a sing that our fans are not buying pirated products but choosing our Eagle Nest stores. We have over 200 law suits going on against piracy. We want to add to this number every other season because they are real source of revenue for our club. If each fan spends $ 10 in our stores, we can make $150 million every year and that’s not a small amount, ” said the Chairman.
Adidas Turkey General Manager Halil Mutlu revealed that as the world’s leading sports merchandise producer, Adidas had sponsorship deals with other sports club in Turkey and supported Turkish sports in general. He went on to add, “Beşiktaş is one of our favorite clubs in Turkey. I am confident we will exceed the number of merchandise we so far sold next season. The quality of our merchandise is no different than the ones we are marketing in Europe.”
