After Kasımpaşaspor match, Beşiktaş Manager Tayfur Havutçu shared his thoughts with the press:

“We knew it was going to be a tough match because they were a relegation-fighting team and won away last week. But we stuck to our game plan and the first half  goal eased the pressure. We could have scored more goals, but their goalkeeper was in fine form tonight. It was an important win for us.
Nihat Kahveci has not played a full game for 4 months because of his injury. He is not in top shape but coming along just fine. We are going to use him sparingly. I had to take Quaresma out due to a hamstring injury.”
