On Day 28 of the Turkish Super League, visitors Beşiktaş defeated Kasımpaşaspor 1-0 at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium tonight.

Thank to the relentless attacks initiated by Hilbert and Quaresma from the right flank, the Eagles enjoyed most of the early pressure and created a flurry of chances but had to wait until the 43rd minute to beat goalkeeper Fırat Kocaoğlu, who kept Beşiktaş forwards at bay with a string of superb saves. Kasımpaşa keeper managed to stop Almeida’s first shot, but the Portugese striker got the rebound and slotted home. 1-0 for Beşiktaş at half-time.
Relegation-bound home team went all out for the equaliser in the second half and came close
with Keller and Ersen Martin on couple of occasions, but mighty Beşiktaş defense withstood their efforts to score as the Eagles ran out 1-0 victors and pocketed all there points.
