Turkish Clubs Seyfi Alanya Women’s Winter Throwing Championship was held in Mersin City over the weekend.
With 70, 09m, Beşiktaş’s Tuğçe Şahutoğlu became the first woman hammer thrower that surpassed 70m. This distance gave her the right to compete in 2012 Olympics. Meanwhile, girl’s bantam team gathered 2502 points and qualified for the finals, which is scheduled for May 07- 08 in Bursa City.The results at the Macit Özcan Sports Complex are as follows:
