A 28-28 EHF Cup 4th Round second leg draw against TBV Lemgo of Germany wasn’t enough to send Beşiktaş men’s handball team through. 

Needing to win by three goals to progress, the Black Eagles, led by Kosvak, started the game at the Süleyman Seba Sports Hall in attacking mode but found themselves trailing 15-11 at the half. 
After tightening up on defence, the Black and Whites, roared on by a packed crowd, closed the gap and even took a 25-24 lead on a Oğuzhan goal in the later stages of the second half. Beşiktaş tried hard to build on that lead, but the stubborn German side held on for 28-28 draw that carried them into the next round.
Beşiktaş Board Members, Doğan Küçükemre, Ahmet Akpınar and Necip Sever, Club Associations General Coordinator Levent Çiftler and Club General Manager Murat Ülgen were all at hand to watch the game.
