Beşiktaş Cola Turka 92, Bornova Belediyesi 72

In Week 19 contest, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball demolished Bornova Belediyesi, 92-72, at Izmir Ege University Sports Hall.

Courtesy of early layups by Serkan Erdoğan and Marcelus and Kemp, the Eagles opened up a 17-9 lead midway through the first quarter. They continued to pound  their hosts in the remaining minutes to take a 32-19 margin into second stanza. 
While Bornova struggled at both ends, Beşiktaş Cola Turka kept their hot shooting going and was up 44-25 at the half way point of the second quarter. Then Ignerski and Likholitov got into action to push the visitors’ advantage to 52-33, going into the locker room at the intermission.     
Thanks to Kemp’s hot hand, the Black and White maintained their double-digit lead in the third as the gap grew to 69-53 after three quarters of play.
The Eagles never let up in the final frame on their way to a 20-point, 92-72, victory. Marcelus Kemp finished with a game-high 35 points, followed by Serkan Erdoğan (18), Mire Chatman (13), Ignerski (10), Likholitov (8), Hüseyin Beşok (6) and Ogilvy (2).
