Following an emergency meeting,  Beşiktaş JK Executive Board issued a statement which read:

“Upon learning  the unsportsmanlike  conduct he displayed in the dressing room during the half-time interval  of this week’s match against Ankaragücü, our Executive Board held an emergency meeting, and in line with coaching staff recommendations, unanimously decided to terminate  player İbrahim Üzülmez’ contract  with immediate effect.
