Being the undefeated Champion and the holder of the Turkey Cup, Beşiktaş Handball Team is getting ready for the new season contentiously. Coach Müfit Arın talked to our Internet site and said that their most important objective was to achieve success in the European Champions League in which they would play for the very first time.

Handball Team, which began its preparations for the new season as of July 25th, began playing tactical games following physical condition and fitness practices. Müfit Arın who said that their objective was consistency in the league added, “What I mean by consistency is the new Championships and victories with cups. I am sure that we will achieve that as well”. Arın underlined that they were reaching for greater objectives from now on, said that they wanted the Beşiktaş community to experience new happiness by getting successful results in the Champions League in which they would play for the first time.
Experienced coach said that Dynamo Baumit Bucharest with which they had been matched in the 1st preliminary elimination tours in the European Champions League was a serious opponent and added “Our opponent with which we will play our first game on September 4th is one of the strongest representatives of the Romanian school. However, we want to play in such a way that will be appropriate for the name “Beşiktaş” and pass this round, and then play in the group games. We want our fans at the game which we will play at Suleiman Saba Sport Hall on September 4th.”
Arın also talked about the new transfers; he emphasized that the 3 players who will wear the Beşiktaş uniform this season were very experienced, and added:
 “Serdar Eler, one of these players, has leadership quality which will allow him to assume the big brother status in the team. He is a player whose experiences can be very beneficial. On the other hand, Oğuzhan Büyük and Berk Özköktem are young, talented, and the kind of players who can serve our Beşiktaş for many years. We will make use of them and try to achieve our goals”.
