Colombian Goal Keeper Oscar Cordoba who deserved a round of applause with the performance he displayed at the league and the UEFA Cup said in the special statement he made to our Internet site that he intended to continue his high performance progressively.

Oscar Cordoba said that they went through a good preparation period and added “We prepared very well. We had to play well anyway, because we had worked hard for that”.
Having started the season with a high performance, the experienced goal keeper emphasized that he wanted to continue that way and said “I am the kind of goal keeper who aims at beginning at a normal level and go up very high. But this time I made a start with a good performance and a good capacity and this has to continue, because our fans would want that. My performance is at high levels now.  I will take it even higher.”
Oscar Cordoba who underlined that it was up to the Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay to decide who would keep the goali position said that he made great friendships with Ailton and Kleberson even though they were new in the team. Cordoba said “Of course I know them as football players. However, we did not have a one to one, special friendship. Presently, I have great friendships with both of them and it would become even better.” 
Cordoba stated that Ailton and Kleberson played before the fans for the very first time in the game against Denizlispor and they were both well received. Cordoba who pointed out  the importance of the fact that Ailton scored a goal in his first game and said, “The goal scored by our new forward player in our first game at İnönü was important. This was very important and Ailton made that happen. A very warm relation was formed between our fans and him, and I think he was very well received”.
