Ailton who had scored in his first game in Black and White uniform thanked our fans after the game for the support that they had provided whereas Ahmed Hassan who had been one of the stars of the game stated that he was very happy:

Ailton: "I was feeling quite ready however I knew that I could not reflect my full performance on the field for 90 minutes. My friends and fans supported me a lot. It is a great honor to score in the first game in Black and White uniform. I will be ready completely after a little while. I am very happy for having won."
Ahmed Hassan: "We were very good as a team. We competed very well in spite of being tired. Our fans supported us greatly. I congratulate the entire team. I am very happy."
