Halit Güven Kocabal signed a 2-year deal with 1 optional year. Kocabal who had been wearing Istanbulspor’s uniform for 16 years said that he had done his first transfer to Beşiktaş.

Kıvanç Oktay, Vice President in charge of Football Branch, and the Chairman of the Marketing Committee İ. Murat Ürünsak attended the signature ceremony. Kıvanç Oktay said in the statement he made “Güven, too, is one of our players whom we transferred based on Rıza Çalımbay’s report, just like the other transfers. We met with the player’s Club based on the aforesaid request and made him a Beşiktaş player. He is a player who we need and who we believe that will contribute many things to us. I hope that it will bring good results”.
Güven on the other hand said that he did his first transfer in his life to Beşiktaş, and added “I had been playing at İstanbulspor Club for 16 years. I have had great days there. God willing, I will have even better days here. Coming to Beşiktaş is not enough; I will become happy by playing football. I want to work very hard and achieve first Beşiktaş’s and then my own objectives.”
