Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team had an 81-56 victory over Mersin Metropolitan Municipality in the first game of the semi-final series and took the lead with 2-0 in the series.

Having displayed a far superior performance in the fight which was played at BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex, Beşiktaş took control of the game from very early on. The Black & White Ladies finished the first period 21-15 leading. They did not give a chance to their opponents to score easily even in the 2nd quarter thanks to their successful performance in defense. Beşiktaş team was active in offense under the hoop thanks to Mactabene and Stinson, and went to the locker room with 19 points gap, 45-26 leading.
The Black & White team made an impressive start in the 2nd half too, did not allow the gap to be trimmed thanks to the scores made from under the hoop; took the lead in this period and carried a commanding 66-40 cushion into the final quarter. Beşiktaş continued its easy performance with the young players Aysun, Melike and Derya in the final period, grabbed an 81-56 triumph over its opponent and took the lead with 2-0 in the series.
While the most scorer Beşiktaş player in the game was Stintson who had 20 points; Yasemin and Arzu scored 10 points each, Mactabene had 9 points, Tuğba and Esmerald scored 8 and 4 points respectively, and on the other hand, Esra, Derya and Aysun produced 2 points each.
