Beşiktaş Handball Team, which already guaranteed the championship at the league and had its eye on the Turkey Cup rose to the semi final after beating İzmit Greater Municipality 44-24 at the quarter final of the cup. 

In the game that took place in Gebze Sports Hall, it was Beşiktaş that set off the game very well and was up with a score of 24-13 at the end of the first half. Black and Whites continued its superior game also in the second half and thus left the court as victors with 44-24 and rose to the Turkey Cup Semi final.
