Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team has lost 23rd week’s away game to Türk Telekom with a final score of 80-73. 

Beşiktaş had troubles both in defense and offense lines at the early minutes of the match played in Atatürk Sports Hall and could not even score for the first 5 attacks. Beşiktaş players found their first basket only at the 4th minute. White & Blacks could also not prevent the scores of, particularly Grays, from Türk Telekom and the first period was completed with 18-11 victory of Türk Telekom.
In the first minutes of the 2nd period, Beşiktaş managed to close the gap up to 3 points with the baskets of Tolga and Varda who had early foul problems in this period. Türk Telekom was not so successful in its attacks and was playing with a low scoring rate which allowed Beşiktaş to bring the score to 25-22. Then, the host team recovered again and led the first half by 37-30.
Beşiktaş started better to the second half and a more active El Amin and personal efforts of Tolga made Beşiktaş again a partner of the match and for the first time Beşiktaş closed the gap in the 28th minute of the game: 48-48. However, the host team managed to lead the third period by 53-51.
In the final period, Türk Telekom opened the gap by 9 points in the 35th minute thanks to suppressive play of Davenport and the contributions of Gazi to the score: 65-56 and Türk Telekom continued to play in a controlled manner in the final minutes and won the match by 80-73.
