Coach Rıza Çalımbay stated that they did everything necessary except being careful at the final shots, whereas the Football Branch Deputy President claimed that they are sorry of the point loss.

Rıza Çalımbay declared that Beşiktaş was the dominant side in the game and said:
“We probably had most corners in this game since I started. We had countless opportunities and dominated the field. We did everything necessary in defense and midfield however we should have been more careful with the final shots. Even though we didn’t give our opponent a scoring opportunity, our only shortfall was the final shots. We never underrated Diyarbakırspor. They have very quality players despite having absent players and today they fielded a strong team.”
The Football Branch Deputy Manager Kıvanç Oktay on the other hand stated that they are sorry of not utilizing Trabzonspor's point loss and said: “We had many opportunities however we couldn’t seize them. I reckon that we had more than 10 scoring opportunities. We are sorry of the lost 2 points in this game. These are the games that are important and no points should be lost."
