Ratko Varda the successful basketball player of Beşiktaş has undergone an operation due to the curvature on his nose that occurred after getting a hit in the match against Azovmash of Ukraine.

The operation performed by Dr. Burak Erdamar at Memorial Hospital has gone well and the curvature on Varda’s nose has been corrected by this operation. Beşiktaş Club Doctor Şenol Akman stated that Ratko Varda has undergone this operation taking advantage of  3 weeks in which he would not play anyway due to his injury on his shoulder that occurred in the  match played against Ural Great team in Russia ,.
Serbian player Ratko Varda emphasizing that he had consecutive unfortunate incidents said:
‘’First I got a hit on my nose in Ukraine. After winning the match against Ülker, I injured my shoulder at the away game in Russia. The operation I have gone through today has gone very well. My shoulder is also healing day by day. I hope our team will not feel my absence as we are a very good team. I guess I will unfortunately miss the forthcoming 3 or 4 matches.’’
