Beşiktaş Women Volleyball Team qualified for the next tour ranking 4th in its
group, although it was defeated against Tenerife with 3-2 in its last match of
Group B of the Indesit European Women Champions League.

The first set of the match which lasted 24 minutes was completed 22-25 against Beşiktaş. The Black & White team was effective in offense and blocks during the second set, which yielded the set points of 25-22 and Beşiktaş won the set making the score 1-1.
Beşiktaş continued its successful play during the 3rd set and was superior to its rival with a set score of 26-24, and made the score 2-1. Tenerife which took advantage of the faults of Beşiktaş during the 4th set of the match, tied the score to 2-2 with a set score of 19-25.
Beşiktaş lost the final set to Tenerife when it was unable to prevent its superiority in the game during the last set of the match, yielding a set score of 9-15 and left the match with 3-2 defeat. Despite this defeat, Beşiktaş ranked at the 4th place in the end of the group matches and qualified for the next tour in the Champions League.
Beşiktaş will play against Foppapedretti Bergamo of Italy, the leader of the other group, in the next round.
