Besiktas Men’s Basketball Team, who played against Ionikos in their 5th game in the European League in Greece, won the game with a score of 73-83 displaying a splendid performance. They moved up to the 2nd place in their group winning their 4th victory.

While the Greek team was in front with a score of 26-20 in the first quarter of the game Besiktas caught up and closed the first half-time 42-43 in front. Following that, during the third quarter where a great struggle was displayed, Besiktas remained behind with a score of 63-62, however, scored one after another in the last quarter of the game and won 73-83. Ratko Varda was the top scorer in the game and El-Amin scored 14, Nedim Yücel 10, Tolga Tekinalp and Huseyin Demiral 7, Albert Mourning 5, and Bekir Yarangume 3 points.
