Besiktas Men’s Basketball Team achieved their 2nd victory in the European League by defeating Azovmash of Ukraine 105-83. Ratko Varda, Albert Mourning and Khalid El-Amin played an important role in the victory with the performance they displayed and points they scored.

Besiktas played their 3rd game in Istanbul following their 2 away matches in the European League. Supporters did not leave the players alone in the game, which was also very important since it was the first European game in played Akatlar. Along with President Yıldırım Demiroren, most of the Executive Board Members watched the game. Besiktas started the game well and completed the first quarter leading 28-21. The Eagles, who had a better performance during the second quarter compared to the first, lead 54-42 at the end of the quarter scoring. Besiktas finished the 3rd quarter leading 84-59. Coach Ihsan Bayulken gave a chance to young players with the comfortable lead during the 4th quarter. Besiktas achieved their 2nd victory in the European League by winning the game 105-83.
