The Lady Black and White started the game with a lineup consisting of Cohen, Deforge, Müjde, Branzova and Harper. Thanks to a string of three-pointers by Deforge, Branzova and Cohen, Beşiktaş Cola Turka opened up 17-7 lead at the halfway point and was up, 23-, going into second quarter
With the addition of Tuğba, Beşiktaş Cola Turka took complete control of the game in the second and rode the shooting of Deforge and Branzova to remain safely in front. Harper’s free-throws capped a 10-2 run that gave the Black and White a 13-point advantage at 33-20 with 6:00 to go. Fenerbahçe tried to trim the deficit in the closing minutes but still trailed 41-29 at the half.
Fenerbahçe got back-to-back buckets from Ajavon and Nevriye to start the third, but Branzova and Cohen answered right back with a pair of jumpers to keep the margin intact. Our Ladies in Black and White were holding onto a 10-point, 62-52, advantage entering the fourth.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka tightened its defense in the final stanza and did not allow a basket for nearly five minutes. The Black and White led 69-54 at midway en route to a comfortable 80-61 home win.
