In an exhibition game at the Arena today, Beşiktaş Milangaz lost to Russians in double overtime.With a starting five of Deron Williams, Zoran Erceg, David Hawkins, Ersin Dağlı and Serhat Çetin, the Black Eagles started the game cold and were down, 28-20, going into the second. But thanks to a couple of late jumpers by Deron Williams, they managed to pull within 42-38 at the break.
Williams teamed up with Hawkins in the third to give Beşiktaş a 61-59 edge after three quarters of play. However, the Russians remained within reach rest of the way and sent the game into OT with a last second layup, 76-76.
The seesaw battle continued in OT as the teams were locked in a 86-86 tie after the first five minutes. A late rally in second OT enabled Lyubertsy to run away with a 96-90 victory. Ersin Dağlı poured in 23 points for Beşiktaş Milangaz while Deron Williams finished with 13.
